Assistant Gardener - Weekend/Half-term

Flamingo Gardens are looking for someone to join their weekend/half-term team.

If you are currently at school or college and want to earn some money, learning new skills, whilst working in beautiful gardens - this could be the job for you!

Under the guidance and supervision of the Head Gardener, you will be undertaking general gardening tasks such as: Lawn cutting, leaf blowing, hedge trimming, weeding and planting at properties in Maidenhead, Marlow, Henley-on-Thames, Windsor, Beaconsfield and the surrounding areas.

The chosen candidate will be offered to work on selected Saturdays or Sundays, with the opportunity to work alongside the team during half-terms and the summer holidays. Usual work times are 8am-3.30pm.

No prior experience is required, but a keen interest to learn a new skill set and working outdoors important.

WANT TO WORK OUTDOORS IN BEAUTIFUL GARDENS?

Flamingo Gardens are looking to hire someone to join the full-time team and help maintain award-winning gardens in Maidenhead, Marlow, Henley-on-Thames, Windsor, Beaconsfield and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities and duties include:

Lawn cutting, leaf blowing, hedge trimming, weeding, planting and all other general gardening tasks.

Desired skills and experience:

  • NO FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED BUT WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE
  • NO DRIVING LICENSE REQUIRED BUT WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team or unsupervised.
  • Physical fitness and stamina.

Usual hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-3.30pm, 7.5 HOUR WORKING DAY

Starting salary: £18,500 - £24,000 per year D.O.E
